Head Girls Golf Coach

Experience: Head Coach since 2012

Coach Simonette has coached at King’s since 2008 (her first four years as an assistant coach). Under Coach Simonette, the team has received the Cascade Conference Team Champion honors three years in a row and has qualified for the State Championships the same number of years. The 2013-2014 season proved to be a spectacular season as the team finished in 1st Place in the overall team placement points at Tri-Districts and continued with the Lady Knights coming out on top as the Team Champions at the State Championships. This is only the second time in the school’s history, the first was during the 1998-1999 season. Coach Simonette was voted Coach of the Year by the league in 2014 in her third year as Head Coach.

A two-sport athlete in high school, Coach Simonette went on to be a tennis instructor and club volleyball coach before switching to golf. A graduate of the University of Washington and Central Washington University, she is currently a Head Coach for The First Tee of Greater Seattle.
