Head Coach at King’s since 2008
Nicole Gabelein has coached King’s High School Soccer the last 10 years. During that time King’s Women’s Soccer has placed in the top four in the state eight times. She has a record of 176 wins and 44 losses. Every year King’s soccer players graduate and go on to play soccer at all levels in college. Prior to coaching at King’s she ran camps and trained players of all ages. Nicole worked to launch Seattle Scores, an after school soccer and literacy program. that became the largest state funded after school program. She grew up playing soccer in the Seattle area and went on to play for Westmont College in California, becoming a three time All-American. She played 3 years for the LA Blues. Nicole was inducted into the Westmont College Hall of Fame in 2005. She met her husband at King’s and has 2 children.
