Rachel Leftwich

Assistant Coach

Coaching at King's since 2018

Rachel was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Chatham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2014. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Seattle to pursue her dreams. Rachel has always been an athlete, starting with ballet and soccer as a child and transitioning to running by middle school. After seven years of high school and collegiate cross country, Rachel began to tackle relay races, 5k, 10k, half marathon, and full marathon distances (including her first Boston marathon in 2016.)  Rachel still loves cross country, regularly competing on club teams in local races. She founded a local competitive female running group called the #Grrls. She also had a few wild multi-sport years that resulted in some short triathlons and two full Ironman distance finishes (but not in that order…) When she’s not coaching, Rachel works as a race director for a local race management company called the Snohomish Running Company, putting on 10-12 running races per year. Rachel likes to dream big, work smart, run fast, and bring people together.
