Girls XC wins S.Whidbey Invite, Smith Breaks Course Record

For the first time in school history, the girls cross country team won the South Whidbey Invite.

Racing against 21 schools from the 1A and 2A divisions, the girls team won by 3 points over 2A Bellingham.

The girls captains are Greta Gunning and Alexandra Christophilis.

Leading the girls was Naomi Smith winning the meet with a new 5K Course Record of 18:24.

Naomi is now ranked 2nd in the state of Washington over all divisions.
